1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using ShareHow ("the App," "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Hope Software Group LLC, a Missouri limited liability company ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").

2. Description of Service

ShareHow is a mobile application that enables users to record video walkthroughs of real-world processes and automatically convert them into searchable, step-by-step training libraries accessible via QR code. Content may be accessed by viewers without an account using a shared QR code or link.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account or use the Service. By using ShareHow, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.

4. Account Registration

To access core features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain the security of your password and account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

5.1 Paid Plans

ShareHow offers paid subscription plans. Pricing, features, and billing intervals are described within the App and on our website.

5.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed through the following third-party providers depending on your platform:

  • iOS users: Apple App Store / Apple In-App Purchases
  • Android users: Google Play / Google In-App Purchases
  • Web users: Stripe

Subscription management is handled through RevenueCat. By purchasing a subscription, you also agree to the applicable terms of your payment processor.

5.3 Billing and Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled before the renewal date. You are responsible for managing and canceling your subscription through your platform's subscription settings.

5.4 Refunds

Refund eligibility is governed by the platform through which you purchased (Apple, Google, or Stripe). We do not independently issue refunds for purchases made through Apple or Google. For web purchases processed via Stripe, contact us at the email below.

5.5 Free Trials

Where offered, free trial eligibility is limited to one per user. We reserve the right to revoke a free trial if we determine misuse.

6. User Content

6.1 Ownership

You retain full ownership of all videos, text, and other content you upload or create using ShareHow ("User Content"). These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to Hope Software Group LLC.

6.2 License to ShareHow

By uploading User Content, you grant Hope Software Group LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to store, host, display, and transmit your User Content solely as necessary to provide and operate the Service. This license ends when you delete your content or close your account, subject to reasonable technical delays.

6.3 Your Responsibilities

You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have the necessary rights to all content you upload
  • Your content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
  • Your content does not violate any applicable law or these Terms

6.4 Prohibited Content

You may not upload content that:

  • Is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, or defamatory
  • Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Contains viruses or malicious code
  • Violates the privacy of any individual

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service
  • Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission
  • Interfere with the operation or security of the Service

8. Intellectual Property

All software, design, trademarks, logos, and other intellectual property associated with ShareHow (excluding User Content) are owned by Hope Software Group LLC or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to use our trademarks, trade names, or branding without prior written consent.

9. QR Code Viewers and Anonymous Access

Certain content created in ShareHow may be accessed by third parties via QR code or shared link without an account ("Viewers"). Viewers are subject to these Terms with respect to their access and use of shared content. Viewers may not download, reproduce, or redistribute content without authorization from the content creator.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HOPE SOFTWARE GROUP LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, HOPE SOFTWARE GROUP LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100.00).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Hope Software Group LLC and its members, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitation of liability.

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account within the App or contacting us directly.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or within the App. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Missouri, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
